Remember when I posted about how I didn’t want this to be one of those blogs where I only post once every few months and every post starts with an apology about how I need to post more.

I live in Dallas now. I accidentally stepped myself backwards into running two showcases. One out at Noble Rey Brewery every Thursday every week at 8 pm. And a monthly showcase at The Mitchell, first one being on March 25th at 8 pm.

I’m also doing the Memphis Comedy Festival March 9th through March 12th and I’m doing a show opening for my good buddy Doug Gillon in Little Rock March 18th.

I’m also going to be a regular columnist on the new Memphis fake news site, Memphis Today Tonight, where I get to stretch that old satire/parody muscle I didn’t get to show off since Sad Men For Lonely Women.

If you can’t tell, this is the part of the year where I start manically throwing myself into projects so I don’t feel like my creative pursuits are for nothing. THE PERFECT TIME TO JUMP BACK INTO BLOGGING!

You may think I’ll be gone in a month and you may be right. But, just like your step dad, I mean well and I’m really trying to make this work. Your WordPress and I really love each other and you don’t have to start calling me your favorite blog right away. Just. Just give me a chance, okay?
